Gira IP Door Communication – Basics

IP-based door communication is increasingly becoming an integral part of modern building infrastructure. For specialist planners, system integrators and electricians, this opens up new opportunities – but also places greater demands on planning, networking and commissioning.

In this web-based training course on Gira IP Door Communication – Basic Training, you will gain a thorough introduction to the world of IP-based door intercom systems. The focus is on the basic system architecture, integration into existing networks, and practical project planning and implementation.

You will familiarise yourself with the relevant components, understand how they interact and gain confidence in handling typical use cases – from detached houses to more complex building solutions. The training is complemented by an introduction to the project planning software, the Gira Project Assistant (GPA), and practical guidance on configuration, fault diagnosis and efficient commissioning.

This course is specifically aimed at professionals who wish to expand their expertise in the field of modern door communication systems and make their projects future-proof.
